60- to 65-year-olds have been "stealing" jobs from 16 to 20-year-olds since 1995

Just one  self-explanatory graph . The labor force participation rate in the age group from 60 to 65 years and in two youngest groups as reported by the BLS. Start time and amplitude of the change since 1995 reveal  a tight link between two processes: grand parents take the jobs of grand children. This cannot be the result of later retirement - just a three year change since the early 1990s.
